Hi everyone, it's Hilary and Christian here. Happy mothers day to all the mothers that read this! Moms rock! We made it to the east coast, finally! Our trip this far has been so fun and cool to see the different animals, trees, and beaches (not to mention crazy different types of people) that live in different parts of the US. For instance, we rode our bikes to a park in Georgia and the signs read do not feed the possums and alligators....we will never see a sign like that in Idaho. They also have big buckets of fresh cooked craw fish that people just pull up and grab and eat....of coarse we bought some and tried them out....we didn't suck the brains out of the head like one lady suggested, but they were good. Next stop, Savannah Georgia. Our 35ft rv (with ten extra ft. Of bikes and motorcycle) had a bit of a time in the small roads there. In fact, we took a corner a bit wide and hit a car, breaking there driver side mirror. We didn't really notice until he flagged us down. But heck, we didn't notice the cone we drug under the rv either. The souther folks are so polite and kind, they call Christian honey and sugar...the girls think thats funny. The history in the south is so incredible, we have learned details about the alamo, the civil war, the wright brothers, and slavery....which has really interest Maddoox. In fact we stayed last night in kitty hawk which is where to wright brothers took flight. Okay, today we are still in North Carolina. We had heard so much about the outer banks that we decided to check them out for, ourselves. Wow. Isolated, beautiful....and no better place to spend a mothers day. Spending a few days here them destination, Delaware. Love to you all.
Ps. Georgia peaches really are as good as you'd think. Yum (can you tell I'm all about the food, and chrisitans all about the beaches)
Hilary and Christian
